The Phoenix Symphony Comes to Wickenburg
On March 3rd, 2001, the WCO played host to the entire Phoenix Symphony at the new Del E. Webb Center. Maestro Robert Moody led the Symphony in an inspired performance of works by Bach, Beethoven and Brahms.
The concert and encore brought the near sell-out audience to its feet for a lengthy standing ovation.
Internationally known conductor, Maestro Hermann Michael, music director of the Phoenix Symphony, Mme. Michael and Kendra Whitlock, general manager of the PS were in the audience. All expressed great interest in the work the WCO is doing for area children.
